"I think I'll take a walk in the park", that's a line from an old song, but for the life of me I can't think of who sings it. I'm sure It's called 'Beautiful Sunday'.
Isn't it great to wake up with a pulse! I say that only because in our house there are three of us living here. The third member is my father-in-law. He's a 91 year old, not very mobile, non existent short term memory but, still has a sharp mind for day to day stuff. We sometimes joke it's great to wake up with a pulse. He mutters a few things to himself and we get on with our day. He really is a terrific gentleman, a war veteran and was a very good cricketer.
I am trying to figure how to write his autobiography, he has a huge story and so much humour to share.
As for today, It's still stormy outside but the weather people say the wind will abate this evening. 'You beauty'. There's been a tad of damage here, nothing I can't fix. I have a turtle in a pond outside, his name is Horatio and is in hibernation at the moment. Good thing really, if he were awake he'd be scratching his long neck wondering what the heck's all this rotten weather is about!
I spoze I should talk about my new business venture some more. My wife tells me she is thrilled to see I have something worthwhile to do. It's good to have her support.
This business is in the travel industry, worth about 8 trillion dollars at the moment. I am working with a company founded about 8 years ago in the good ole' USA. It has global reach which is available to me too, that's exciting! This is a turn-key business and uses automated systems with state of the art business tools and websites. Support, wow, help for me is a phone call away, which is great because I've needed it.
As I've mentioned before, marketing/advertising my business is the challenge. Thanks to support and Google, I am learning and making headway. Crikey, another long blog!! I'm outta here until next time. "You only live once and if you do it right, once is enough"
