Small steps forward...

That wasn't so tough!  My good wife was quite keen to hear what I had to say about this new business venture I was looking into.

 Righto, I best explain why it was with some trepidation I announced to my wife I was looking into another business venture.  Yep, another one!   I have, over the years, been involved with numerous "business opportunities" as a way of making money.

 

These various ways have always at some stage involved my wife's participation, and I will say she has been a good sport about it.  Previous efforts have ended in failure with a small amount of money expended and a huge amount of time gone forever.  I put it down to life experience.

 

I will also tell you  these "opportunities" have been MLM or Multi Level Marketing.  Don't get me wrong, MLM businesses I have been apart of have all had a good basic business plan.  There comes a time though when I have realised that this particular business isn't the right one for me.

 

So, this is why I have been a tad nervous about discussing this latest possible venture with my wife. (Not wanting to hear the old "here we go again words).  To my surprise however, she was all ears and keen to listen.  I guess that's a tick in the box, several boxes to go. 

 

Next thing to do is to research this new business thoroughly.  Having said that, I do know what key features to look for and what pitfalls there may be, so I wont be over analysing things like I used to.  In coming posts I will talk about this new business, what decisions I have made and how it may or may not affect home life.  It may be I do not pursue it, I'm not in any rush... Small steps!
